Picnic Scrunch iPad Kid Clinger - red/green

The Picnic Scrunch iPad Kid Clinger is the perfect companion for eating your lunch outdoors by a lake.

Really, they don't care where you go as long as you're together.

This warm large scale print is going to make you feel like safe and cosy. The front panel is sewn with elastic thread to give an irresistable off-centred scrunch effect, mimicing the lined of the tartan design.

Big enough for most laptops, certainly your biggest iPad, your packed lunch and a small water bottle.

Outer - Deadstock cotton stretch fabric sourced from @drapersfabrics

Inner - Organic cotton calico

Hardware - Mechanically recycled polyester YKK zip

Label - Organic cotton canvas, digitally printed with a water based pigment ink by Next State Print

Thread - Polyester (Donated)

Hang tag - Reused cardboard laser cut and engraved by @littlelaserco. Tied with scrap fabric
Spot clean your Clinger with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent. Once the stain is removed remove suds by dabbing with a damp cloth. Allow to dry fully.

Hand wash in warm water or machine wash on a gentle/handwash cycle with mild detergent. Dry flat, out of direct sunlight.

Spritz with vinegar solution to deodorise at any time. Mix 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water into a spray bottle. Shake well and spray lightly over your Clinger.
End of Life

This Clinger has a lengthy life ahead of it. However, if the spark fades and you don’t want your kids/grandkids to find it in your attic and take it out on the town, then here is what to do;

Repair - If your old friend is looking a bit shabby, giving it some love and attention to set things back on track.

Pass it on - find someone else who will enjoy the company.

Find another use for it - could it be a handy make up bag or a hanging vase for fresh or dried flowers?

Recycle it - Although they aren’t widely accessible currently there are textile recycling facilities across Australia.
