Experiment 001

Materials: Thrifted tulle length and cotton bed sheet from the stash. Neon green thread to match.
 
Features: Drawstring closure. Super modula straps (includes 3 extra tulle straps). Layer or tie anyway to wear on shoulder or cross body or add bow details to customise.

Inner - 25 x 16 x 8 cm
Outer - 45 x 32 x 15 cm

Learnings:
I loveeeee using the binding attachment to make these small straps. So easy and really consistent.
I like the idea of the lining being made of a structured material and the outer being uncontained. Don't have to worry about the outer holding weight or being warped by what you carry.
I think a boxier shape rather than rectangular for the lining would have made more sense with the drawstring closure. Would have felt more symmetrical.
The Tulle is a bit grippy so not ideal for functional ties BUT looks darn cute.
Would be interesting to experiment with an "algorithm" to approach the bunching/ pleating to give a randomised but consistent texture. Want to play more with this.
